Inclusive Entrepreneurship Accelerator
Our Inclusive Entrepreneurship Accelerator, as well as our bootcamps and workshops, are an expression of our core beliefs about inclusive entrepreneurship: entrepreneurship creates opportunity. Everyone, no matter one’s socioeconomic circumstances, race, age or gender, is entitled to the opportunity to learn entrepreneurship skills, design their own future and leave their impact on the world.
Launched amidst the COVID-19 crisis, our first class of entrepreneurs began on April 13, 2020. We believe we have created a welcoming, yet rigorous space for budding entrepreneurs and those looking to build and launch a new business to learn, grow and move their dreams forward. We are a substantially virtual accelerator operating in evening hours allowing our participants to continue working their day jobs as they pursue their dreams.

Mentors
Mentors are an integral part of our Accelerator program. Mentors serve as advisors and supporters for their mentees. They provide a safe space to expose vulnerabilities associated with creating and building a business startup and share their knowledge and networks. Many of our mentors and mentees create relationships that continue long after the accelerator program is completed.

Our Alumni and Mentors are getting together again this year for another Alumni Event at Sing Sing Kill Brewery! We like to think that once folks join one of our accelerators we become family. These annual “family” reunions are becoming a tradition we look forward to all year!
Highlighting the impact of OI! in the local community
We have launched a Business Book Club! A community dedicated to reading and drawing actionable insights from highly regarded books in the business world. Each month, we dive into a new title, exploring its key concepts and discussing how to apply them to our professional lives. This month, we delved into Cal Newport's book, "Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World."
